Still awake enough for a nightime snack

Beginning to get that sleepy look

- - - - or is it a romantic dinner for two.

The Long tailed tits are one of my favourites - I am sure they were the inspiration for Tweety pie with their cheeky faces and feathers so fine it looks like fur. The bodies are about the size of my thumb.

As you can see it was almost dark and these were taken with flash.

Good captions! They certainly fit the expressions on the bird's face. And you're right, in that last shot, the way the eye is looking at you is reminiscent of how Tweety Bird looks.
