As I approach my 20th class reunion, I was just thinking about all the "girl" opportunities I passed up on for being a chicken. There was one girl in particular that I KNEW was into me and I was into her, but I never got the courage to ask her out.
Photography advice aside, don't be me. I...
Very cool shot. A version with a more prominent "you" in the foreground would make a cool avatar or profile picture on your favorite social media site.
If you want some nitpicking, I'll oblige.
For the astro part, I would prefer less streaks just above the trees. I assume those are...
Could you repost the link to your desired photos? That is key to answering your question. Many sky images aren't as easy as they seem. I won't go into too many details because I don't know exactly what you're after, but some night sky techniques include using software to "stack" multiple...
I'm not up to speed on the art world, so can't comment on that. But I would think a camera that took a famous historical photo might have some value. The images would need to be recognizable by lays people, not just art/photography enthusiasts. And only a long period of time will tell which...
After a year on display, I've gotten lots of great feedback from guests. I don't ever bring attention to them, but I almost always get a compliment on them.
When people ask "did you take these?" I'm not sure to take that as a compliment or not. Does that mean it's easy to tell, even from an...
Thanks. I'm actually moving and won't be seeing this tree every day anymore. Funny because I didn't know I was moving when I started this. I'm glad I'll always remember and will still be able to see my lonesome tree in the foyer of my new house. Pretty much summarizes why I have interest in...
I finished my series with this autumn shot! I couldn't get a spring shot that competed with the one posted above, and same with summer. The crops shot up quick this year and blocked out most of the tree. So I settled with the ones above but could always swap one out later if need be.
I did...
Yes, much better! When you say "I shifted the white balance yellow/green", can that be done in Lightroom? I typically use LR so am hoping to setup a camera profile that can make the fix for all these photos when they come.
Thanks again
My wife uses a Panasonic HC-V700 camcorder which will snap still shots while she's shooting. They all come out with the same profile where the color looks off. I know that the poor lighting and poor camera quality doesn't help, but there's something else about these pics that I just can't put...
I like the contrast and the smoothness of the water. The dock is a bit distracting. Could you stand on it to avoid it? Or at least desaturate the blue ones?
Finally got a chance to put this together. Was disappointed that I missed a few shots early due to clouds, which is why there looks to be an awkward twist in the moon in the second shot. Also dealt with snow falling on my equipment and wind. Good practice for next time and I'll also try to get...
I was really pleased with how this turned out, especially the colors. It was my first time using my Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens. Let me know what you think composition and processing wise. Thanks!
Yeah, I just provided the link to show people do care about broken balls and how to alter them. I like your response much better than "Deerrp I dunno. Just a dumb question, nobody cares."
