Good morning, I am new to this site and after reading your post wanted to ask your opinion on shooting weddings. I have been throwing the idea around but feel unsure whether to do it or not. Mostly I have taken nature photos and family photos.
Hi Derrel, I was wondering if you know anything about shooting full length live video streams and lighting needed. You gve me some great pointers a while back about photographing clothing using flashes and soft boxes (which turned out fantastic).
Nikon 43-86mm f/3.5 F. The original Nikon 43-86mm is the worst lens Nikon has ever made. It's worse than the worst, because not only is it terrible by itself, it was so awful that it has tainted the reputation of all other zoom lenses to this day. I just read this from google
Hi Derrel. I’m brand new on here. I like the idea of a community. You’re clearly top of the pops, accomplished, talented and are very familiar with the landscape. Do you have any advice on how to make the most of this. I’d be very grateful.

Hi Derrel. I'm a new member.. I see your photos.. they're absolutely amazing. I need help please. I have an app on my phone that snaps all pictures when the phone is unlocked. Recently I came across 2 unlock photos but honestly they don't make sense and I can't seem to make out the images captured as they're blurry.. Is it possible to send the 2 images for a professional opinion from a great photographer. Thanks
Hi Darrel, I met you at McDonald's yesterday. Just wanted to say thanks for your info, advice and words of encouragement. I'm looking forward to my next step in digital photography with Lightroom, as you suggested. If I have questions, I know who to turn to. Gary
Hi Darrel, I am new to both this forum and Lensbaby having recently bought a Sweet 35. I am considering a Velvet 56 and saw on one of your posts that you said not to buy the Canon EF fit but get a Nikon F mount and use an adaptor; what is the reason for this? Hope you do not mind me asking. Best wishes, Andrew-Bede Allsop
Hey Derek thanks for the help in my post about the d7000 upgrade. You have me strongly considering a D800/D800E. Do you thing the aa filter makes a big enough difference to look for a D800e? I’m really interested in being able to crop/print large. Thanks!
