Hello! My first post here.
I've been doing some photography as a hobby for about a year now, usually I shoot cityscapes, landscapes and some urban photography. My camera is Canon EOS 4000D with its 18-55mm kit lens.
Now, while i find this to be a fairly good camera in ideal conditions (also...
I just happened to wake up and saw the really red/magenta color reflecting off the wall and I immediately jumped out of the bed, grabbed my camera and swapped lenses in the dark and ran outside and took this shot. Seconds after, it was gone.
A couple hours later, this photo was used on TV for...

Crawton star trails 90 by Mark Coull, on Flickr
2nd attempt doing this, got it right this time, this was taken roughly around 2am, after waiting almost 2 hours for the clouds to shift. Unfortunately there was the moon to the right and a old house light to the left. I'm pleased with it, but...
I had planned to get star trails behind the war memorial last night, but I messed up with my interval device so got nothing after waiting an hour. Took this as a consolation before heading home.
Stonehaven at night by Mark Coull, on Flickr
Me and a school friend on mine headed up to Dunnottar Castle near Stonehaven to try and capture a few shots of a sunrise as the weather was pretty good (i.e not raining). We arrive at 6:45 and once we pitched up at our desired spot, we set-up and waited. Sunrise came and the sun was stuck...
Took at trip last week to the west coast of Scotland, visited Loch Lomond, Oban, Inverary, Glencoe and everything else inbetween. Unfortunately we didn't have the luck of the weather for most of it, but I did my best with what I had to work with!

Was on Holiday last week to the west coast of Scotland. Unfortunately we fell foul to the weather for the most of it, but I did manage to get a a few sunset photos while at Oban.
On Sunday I headed out to this location as I've seen quite a few photos of this area, my main goal was to try out long exposure landscape photography with my Hoya ND circular filter that I bought for my 18-55 lens back in January, but never go around to using it cause birds were life.

This was taken near Aviemore, Scotland with my 18-55 kit lens that came with my D3300. Really wanting a wider lens, but there is so many to choose from. In the second image...
Took this on my trip to Vancouver back in March, didn't have the best of weather while visiting, but I still loved it so much me and my g.f are going back next summer. This shot was taken from the other side of the lost lagoon near Stanley Park looking back onto downtown Vancouver.
