kaleidoscope

I made it in GIMP using a real lightning photo. I was just experimenting with the kaleidoscope filter and I liked the result.

this is my first post so sorry if i say/do something wrong !! but i was wondering how i could recreate this photo ? brown eyes i was hoping to take a photo of my friends lips and im curious if this effect is done by editing in photoshop or if i need a certain lens to create it. thanks !!
