Im used to seeing lions and cheetahs on a daily basis on safari. Over the years I've probably encountered at least 40 leopards and got to know them so well that the park rangers gave me the honor to name one a few years back. My record was spotting three in one day but that was extremally lucky...

Some young giraffes practice fighting. I came across this group less then one minute from my camp. I barely had time to shot and only managed to get the one frame before they stopped. Out of all my safaris this is the only group of 3 I've seen entangled like this, mostly its just 2 males...

I noticed a lot of commotion within the group. Fights kept on braking out started by one elephant. You will notice it trunk is damaged, it actually leaks quite a bit and must be causing major pain which likely translated into more aggressive behavior hence the fights. D850 200 to 400 f4 240mm...

These bucks spend most of their time in wet swampland, their hooves are specially designed not to rot in the water and their fur has an oil that makes it water resistant. The oils also have a bad taste making it less appealing to predators. I've not seen many or any lion kills with them D850...
