Golden light - injured elephant

I noticed a lot of commotion within the group. Fights kept on braking out started by one elephant. You will notice it trunk is damaged, it actually leaks quite a bit and must be causing major pain which likely translated into more aggressive behavior hence the fights.

Would that have been caused from a lion or lioness? How would another elephant cause that wound, a tusk?

It actually looks like a snare trap to me but not sure, doubtful another elephant

Mostly I only come across them around cheetah and leopards.

Nice image! A "little" injury like that can make survival rough. Hopefully Rangers do come across her and are able to help.
