Earlier this week I got an 18lb frozen turkey for 47¢ per pound. SCORE!

Around here it was like 63 cents before they went on sale, which I thought was completely obscene. On sale though, this was cut 60% - so about 25 cents/pounds.

If you want to be technical, the Porkeffer Field Coefficient only effects post catalytic variants. I was also assuming a metabolic reduction ratio of pi(PFC/16.743) based on long/lat allowing ~.00765 degree error.

I'm not cooking my turkey until winter, January or February time period because there is enough going around ATM to OD on tryptophan. But..... one little tip I found and might just well try, for that crispy and golden brown skin for a roasted turkey is to coat it with mayonaise. Oh, and I am stuffing the cavity to the hilt with onions, garlic, celery, carrots, rosemary, thyme, 'shrooms and a citrus. Salt N Pepa is a given.
