Eleven hours to get there? Looks like a worthwhile trip.

The first and last for me, for opposing reasons. The stillness and serenity of the first and the movement and power of the last.

Eleven hours in total. There and back with many stops along the way to take photos. I got a good amount of keepers, but the actual target I had in mind escaped me due to time constraints. Next time it will be an overnight trip.

I was thinking an over-nighter would be best, you could get shots in on both days and maybe not have to rush quite as much. Sounds like you had a nice trip, though, and the pics are great. #2 is my personal favorite.

Nice batch, After breaking my tailbone last November I still cant do long car rides, but am envious of those who get out and go. Really enjoyed these shots Richard.

Thanks, everyone. I am planning on returning in the fall. It is a provincial park and I didn't realize until I arrived that they lock the gates at 8 pm. Unless you are staying the night you have to leave. I ended up rushing around not knowing exactly where I was going. The administration wasn't much help in guiding me to lookout spots. The spot I really want to get to is the top of the highest peak in Atlantic Canada, part of the Appalachian range. It is a four-hour round trip hike and it was over 31 degrees Celsius so I decided I wasn't going to stay the night and attempt it. I am not as young or in the shape I once was.

I love to hear the different perspectives on what people like. I obviously like them all, or I wouldn't have posted them. It is nice to see the interest here spans the same spectrum as my own.
