I really like this except for the rather funky reflection on the bumper. I wouldn't think the polarizer caused it, maybe the processing?

Thanks. Those '60s bumpers were usually heavily contoured and faceted. Top-shelf re-chroming, though pretty, guarantees these sorts reflections. Body color bumper fascia today isn't quite as dimensional.
