1st Robberfly sighting of the Season,,

I dont usually find these this early in the season,, truly an amazing predator, it feeds on other insects, with its AMAZING speed and agility its able to capture its prey mid flight then with its long legs will pin it against a branch, using its proboscis it will pierce its victim and inject a tissue dissolving saliva into its victim, it will then withdraw the body fluids with its proboscis using it like a straw

Very nice, I love #1 and #3, being in the same plane, everything is sharp. I'm glad that those things are not 2ft long... I wouldn't like to get transform in a slush and get eaten with a straw...:meh:
