Hey all,

This is my 1st waterfall shot. manged to get the shutter speed down and take this without a tripod.

Have i over done the editing on the green foliage? It was so dull in the orginal

Sorry for the bump but could I get some C&C on this please

It was hard to get a better angle as i was already leaning over the bridge

No its been edited already but im not overly fluent in PS or LR yet. I'll look at the picture again tonight and try mirror what youve done as it looks much better. That way i'll be able to see what youve done.

Thanks

I would definitely try to get a tripod if you like the long exposures, it will open up whole new worlds to you.

Compositionally, long shutter speed water shots are all about flow. Follow the water, let it carry you through the frame. So ideally you want space either before or after the waterfall to give the image some depth and movement.

Yes, I think the green was pushed to far.
It's a bit tilted, and has somewhat soft focus. I did a quick and dirty edit.
