Photos NOT OK to edit
I had an opportunity to shoot a friend's 2011 STi in World Rally Blue.

The forecast called for rain but we pushed for the photoshoot anyways.
We decided to go for a dirty gravel road for the STi's rally heritage.

He's sitting on KW V3's and Advan RS 18x8.
This was shot using my Sony NEX-5 with a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 and the rig shot was with my kit 16mm.

the last one definitely takes the cake, looks good enough to be on an advertisement

Good decision to do the shoot - the weather enhances these shots. To me, the leaf is distracting in #1. 3 is good and 4 is great.

Yep, four nailed it

The only thing that would have made it better, is if your friend gets a clear bra for his car (basically clear vinyl wrapping to preserve paint, most Ferraris have something like this from the factory) to get mud all over the vehicle. The gravel was a good location, but getting the car a little dirty beforehand would have enhanced part of that car's soul for the camera IMHO. Rolling shots are often taken at walking speeds on a rig over long exposure, it's a good trick, but if the car is supposed to be going as fast as the finished rolling shot looks, and it's on gravel, there would be evidence spalshed all over the bottom as well as kicked up behind the tires.

Everything said was meant to give you somewhere to look at improving, which was very hard to try to pinpoint for you because everyhting else is done so well. You're a better photographer than myself, and your technical understanding of setting up the shot as well as post processing is very good. Don't think I'm just bashing the shot, but I feel I have to offer something to help you continue your journey through improving.

Hmm, everybody loving number four but I loved number two. It's like a tiger eying me, ready to pounce. The grayish surrounding and overcast sky, the dirt road, blue color of the car, and the puddles, creates a very unique and memorable picture, something cold, mechanical, and beautiful. Well done!
