2600mm for under £200??

ok now this is on amazon so it can't be a fix (least I should hope so) so can someone tell me if these do anything but give you a shot so blurred tht its impossible to see anything - or if they have any range at all. I can't see them as having any range and with 2600 at close range all you would get its a little stitching on the cloths

They don't mention the aperture of the lens. I'd guess that it's not adjustable and probably a fixed F11 or F16...maybe F8 at the best. Then you add on the 2X TC and it looses a couple of stops. So considering you would need a shutter speed of 1/3000 for hand held shooting...that would be darn near impossible with an aperture of F16 etc.

So it would need to be used on a tripod...and even then, the slightest movement would introduce a large amount of blur.

Then consider the cheap quality of the glass (you get what you pay for, after all)...the images probably look like crap.

It's starting to sound like it's overpriced to me

shame that the photo makes it look pencil sized - one could look really impressive wandering round with a huge lens like that
