Came across this on the local buy/sell site - I have heard of these VIP specials given away and never sold, seems they are free if you buy the lens(!)

No doubt this lens will mean more to collectors here than to me?

Leica had quite a nice deal a good while back - for $78,000 you could get (I believe) a 250 f/2.8 APO Telyt-R and a new Volkswagen Golf to carry it in.
