BTW - Reminds me of a long hike in Joshua Tree were I was lucky I had a tall girl with me that could apparently see in the dark as I hung off her shoulder completely guided back to the truck and nutrition/sleep. -Shea :greenpbl:
Thanks Shea. This shot was cooked up for my photo tour page of the Mojave Preserve north of Joshua Tree. Not always my best ever, but the best I can do at the time. There's a lot of desert out there. It's really wierd, I've never used a flashlight for hiking at night out there (although I do keep one in my backpack). The human eye is a wonderfully adaptable device.
