There is a ton of dust in your scan but overall I like the shot. Nice composition.

Quality, quaility, quality... I don't know is it JPG compression artifacts or too high ISO sensivity but there are many white dot (noise?) in the photo. Overexposured sky is disturbing me a little.

But an idea is quite good

I find the over exposure takes lots of details out of the photo, and can not see enough detail in with the branch, if the school girl is the subject, I would of moved the branch to the left so it would not interfere with the girl. If you scaned the image, I find it that the hues are too red.
If you wanted to show the branch and the girl, I would of used some fill flash for the branch so it would stand out of the dark tree in the background.

too much dust, sky is distracting, branches of tree bother me a little....just my opinion. otherwise i really like the idea you're going after; composition and setting are very good.
