I woke up today and thought I had a senior portrait, so I was gathering up my gear and the mom texted me and had to reschedule. Anywho.

I hate not shooting, no matter what it is.

So I decided to take the new Tamron and head to the park and I found a couple of Swans and tried to get as close as I could. And Bam

Nice shots. The baby chick is especially clear- I bet you looked quite the stalker pointing that lens at her.

All jokes aside- I peeped #2 full size and that's very sharp. I'd be pleased, hopefully you are

I am very pleased with this lens so far.

I need to get my focus screen replaced though, I think its damaged and its driving my eyes crazy!

But don't you want to pay $1000 more for the same focal length, but a heavier, larger, more "professional" lens with a backwards zoom ring?

$1,000 more? Is that used and broken? haha.

Unless I magically get hired by NG or something crazy, this lens is WAY more than I'll ever need.

And if you ever need more reach for your stalking purposes, just wait for the sx60 to release, with it's 2000mm zoom. ;)

I'm speaking to the Sigma 150-600 that's supposed to "compete" with the Tamron.
