A Different Thanksgiving Fowl

Just as we were finishing up dinner at the In-laws. About 5-6 deer came into their yard for their feast. They cautiously milled around eating this and that. Till sister in-law made too much noise trying to go out to get better pictures.

I had to go out last night and chase off a black bear looking for Thanksgiving dinner lol.

I've had Christmas goose and it is great!

My wife doesn't care for dark meat, so no goose for me!

I have always wondered what goose was like. I have had duck and it was little greasy and gamey. Of course preperation has a bit to do with it as well.

Heard 2 shots this morning. Apparently 2 deers Thanksgiving weekend ended this morning. Too close together to be same guy taking a 2nd shot.
