With shots like this, I think the issue is to get the 'strength' up high enough to bring out the building detail, but not so high that you mottle the sky and produce halos. Looks to me like you're right on the edge, so I like them. At this size, I can't tell if there's noise in the sky. If there is, you can always select out the sky before you do any sharpening. If I could offer one compositional comment, it would be to try correcting the barrel distortion in the second image. But I like the way you've got it composed.

I think in both the buildings look nice. in both the sky seems alittle off to me.

#1 the sky has a few different tones, not sure if this is natural or processing. Also some of the clouds are blown out and the color overall feels alittle unnatural

#2 i think the sky feels better here but there seems to be a strip that is grey. I t doesn't feel natural to me but I could be wrong and a thin grey cloud was in the sky

2nd one is far more interesting with the reflections on water. That small size is hard to comment on tech issues

Thanks for the comments!

>Slick: Thanks, will try the barrel correction out in CS5.
>myshkin: The sky is actually pretty much as the metered photo, I think it's close to the natural light. But you're right - it kind of looks funny.. I'll try homogenizing it a bit (is that even a phrase?).
>jth: I've just updated the photolinks - bigger photos. Hope it's better this time?

yes thats better now. The sky has problems, color transitions are not smooth. The pic is soft too, bit of sharpening with unsharp mask would do good just remember to enouh treshold so it won't increase the problems with sky. Anyway I like the composition and reflections
