Wonderful pictures! (needles to say she is a extremely beautiful woman and she knows how to pose, she might well be a model)

May you tell me what camera/model and settings you used?

What lens?

Thanks, great job!

I think you did a pretty good job with this! Her dress is a bit overexposed in a lot of them so we loose the details. The fence shots are nice except I don't care for the DOF in these which turns the fence into a giant white blob.

Nice set. But the first thing I noticed was her tan line - what was she thinking?

Regardless of that it looks like you have done a great job bringing out her personality & making the day fun!

I don't know, seems exposed right to me. I think it's more important for the dress to remain white than to retain all the little details. I don't think a little loss of some fine details is a fatal mistake in this case. And I don't see any whites clipping in the images anyway, at least on my laptop screen.

Anyway, seems like she was a lot of fun to shoot. I like the concept of #9, with the fence acting as a part of the dress. Too bad some springs also made it to the frame.

Didn't like the person in the background in #10 at first, but that actually seems to make a story. She looks so jealous.

I shoot with a D90. I used my 50mm lens, which I never use because I don't think it nails focus. Even in these pictures, I wish they were sharper.. but it was a crazy day! haha

I went back and added all my settings.

The dress in LR is not blown if I zoomed in I can still see the beading detail, so I'm not sure if it is when I uploaded them to facebook. The only one that was kind of blown a little was the one with her arm up but I do agree on here it looks blown.

and we live in Florida. Everyone has tan lines :)

1 & 3 the eye contacts are all over the place. Were there more than 1 photog? Also why did you use the higher ISO and not shoot it wide open on some? Good exposure and you had some good shots.

I am a canon shooter, but I think ISO 200 is the lowest native sensitivity on the D90.

Really? Mine goes to ISO50 and wish sometime it can go lower lol.

Ababysean, a Pepsi trailer, really? I could see Coke maybe, but Pepsi. Not a fan of the shot.
I think the rest are fine for your first time. Good Luck, you're entering a segment many dare not tread.

I agree with almost everyone here, gorgeous bride, good shots but overexposed, and really? A pepsi Truck? lol. I gotta know what the story is behind that shot.

Oh, one more thing, any pics of the bridesmaid in the back of the bride in the last shot? :)

Yes. This was a mock wedding put on by our local photo club but it was very fast paced like a normal wedding. I've shot two weddings and this was actually more frustrating then a real wedding for that fact there were 10 other photogs there but it was good experience to be assertive. When I spoke up I got eye contact the same is true in a real wedding. Everyone and their grandma has a camera so to learn to speak up and talk to the wedding party is something great to practice. I was more concerned with the lighting this time though.

It was 130pm to 300pm in the afternoon.... it was a bit overcast, but still sunny.

You can go lower, but ISO200 is the calibrated standard for my camera. I can go to like Lo.3 and stuff but I just usually use 200.

And I wanted to try to use my 50mm because I never do, I can never get focused shots, so I choose my ap because I wanted a bunch of wiggle room....

Great pictures.

I would love 4 if it was the groom standing behind her
