Today was a great day to photograph birds in my back yard. The sky was slightly over cast and it filtered the light perfectly. Here a few photos:

1 and 2 for me because of the clarity and natural setting.

Some pretty nice smooth bokeh on these. The last is the standout for me. Vivid colour and I prefer that placement of the subject.

I appreciate the compliment. The yellow finch iS a very small bird and they do not stay still in one place very long.

Thanks We have a nice variety of birds here in East Tennessee. They are not as large as the birds in your area. It's almost time for the Osprey to migrate back for the summer. I usually get some nice shots of them.
