Thanks, I notice a lot of people doing that. I actually do not like it at all. Personal preference, and maybe one day it will change, but I like keeping my sky the way it actually looks.

by the way, the first photo is of a juvenile cooper's hawk, the second is correctly identified, and the last is a flock of tree swallows.

Really nice shot of the hawk!

I think the birds in the third shot may be cliff swallows. I can't see whether they have a reddish-brown color on their heads, which cliff swallows have.

cliff swallows have a red chin, tree swallows have a white chin to match the belly. These are tree swallows.

Yeah, I wondered about that after I responded! I've seen plenty of cliff swallows, but never seen a tree swallow. Maybe they're more common down where you are.

lol I was making a joke. I'm sure cliff swallows perch on trees sometimes.

These are great. I love that hawk one at the start of the thread.
Im just starting a class by a guy ive known for a while on hawks and falcons and eagles.
He is a Raptor Biologist.

Anyway, if your last name is Simpson like in your user name its nice to see another one out there.
