On number 2 I definitely like the color and cropped version of it better. I like the color that the shells and whatnot bring to the sand, and the water in the background is a nice contrast to the reds in the foreground.

I agree with foxwolfe, but I think there's too much foreground. (IMO) I like the last one, but I think it needs more contrast.

Way to get a macro shot of the fly when you went to the beach . These are good, i think #4 has the greatest potential perhaps if it were shot in landscape orientation with some ocean in the background. Of 2&3 i think the B&W is better.

I really like that fly photo, I am now going to hide in fear deep in my closet, thank you. That is insanely creepy looking.

I love that last photo, something about rust attracts my eye. Nice job!

Here is the docking post redone landscape. That is the ocean in the background. It goes out about half a mile at low tide. (i just realized I cut the pic in half with the horizon, i still like it though)

But, to nit pic further...:lmao:...now the rope points out of the frame.

And the horizon is crooked. Hmmm...but the pole is straight...what to do, what to do...

Love the rich colors here. The one in the OP were kinda washed out and flat.

This isn't the same photograph as in your OP. And in your last edit the horizon and the pole are crooked.

The colors here are fantabulous! I love it. My mom would -love- this hanging in her living room. *She's a beach fanatic!*
