Excellent! That last incoming shot is great...autofocus is most difficult because the photographer cannot pan
like a bird flying by and the incoming bird focus is changing quickly. Well done!

I also shoot the RF200-800 lens. What are your thoughts about that 1.4X extender.
Do you always use that extender?
Mostly useful for small birds?
( I found 600mm, F8 as a sweet spot with that lens)
I see you loose light with the extender as at 388mm you were at F/10.

I had it on that day thinking I was going to be catching Birds much farther away. The eagle caught me off guard and I certainly did not need it that day. I use it sparingly, but it certainly is nice to have the reach on some days. But of course at the expense of light. I originally bought that extender to work with the RF100-400 lens I have which i will use for travel. The RF200-800 Is just to big to risk taking on a flight etc.
