A Hard day at the Races....

Taken at the British Superbikes round at Thruxton England.

These shots are of Dennis Hobbs (Black leathers) being T-Boned by James Webb in the British Supersport class (600cc).













Fortunately for the crowd there is a very high catch fence on this corner.
The crash started at about 160mph slowing for the chicane.

James Webb (orange & white leathers) got up and walked way. Dennis Hobbs Didn't. He was in a bad way for a bit but 'LUCKILY' only had a dislocated shoulder that will need operating on.

You're right about the luck. This is the last corner before the flag so we tend to gather here for any last ditch pass attempts. I was taking a shot of one of the riders I shoot for and the crowd all breathed in at once so I guessed what might be happening shame the marshals were between me and the final impact against the air fence.
