A nice way to start the New Year

I kick off my New Year with this picture. You could say it was a lucky find for both the nuthatch and I !

Excellent shot. Detail, color and subject are very good. I particularly like the blue bokeh contrasting with the white of the birds head and the snow on the limb.

Lovely shot, but I would like the bit in the beak more in focus - should be possible to post-process it.
