One picture; two treatments 
Such road images can have punch only when it is available to large distance; so not a strong composition; but not bad, i must say. But the treatment on second is very pathetic

yeah i agree. the second one was actually the first edit i made. i wasnt sure what made the left half dark like that. so i redid it. and ended up with a much better result
