Aww.. Norman. A life well lived! He's what we used to call a "heart dog", the one that lives in your heart.

@zulu42 I've not been on the forum much lately, and missed this. My condolences on your loss. One of the best explanations I've seen on why dogs don't live longer was supposedly out of the mouth of a 6yr old.......“People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?”. “Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.”

I've grieved the loss of a few great dogs over the years. They each took a piece of the heart but in turn filled the holes with memories that have lasted a lifetime.
