A spiral to nowhere

This concrete spiral staircase on the front of a 1930s casino is a bit of architectural fun that leads only to a flagpole and a light. I think it looks like a drill-bit! For more info go to http://photoreflect.blogspot.com

burn the shadpws down a little. I really like to see it pop! I also think that the right side of the spiral is to close to the edge a.k.a. a merger! I
d like to see more space on the right, otherwise, nice!

I also agree that it is a little tight. But that is a very good subject. Almost looks like you walk on the outside of the spiral...what with there being a railing out there like that...

Thanks for the comments guys - not sure about the thoughts on the tight right, but all observations welcome. The railings are actually neon strips. Which reminds me - there's an interesting evening shot to be had there!
