A storm a comming to Ga

I only had time to snap 2 pictures then it rained like crazy . .Histogram showed a tad bit white ,Right side of histogram was okay .Middle was okay .Still playing with settings on the D-4 ,having fun doing it too.
shot with the updated 80/400.First time using this glass since i bought it .

Yes, I expected more. Not enough contrast or dark clouds to make in interesting in my opinion. As a general rule, which yes can be broken, but in general if you are trying to showcase a storm, you want as much of the frame as possible to be sky, for example the trees in this shot dont add much.

I did see it coming, but flew over it

You must flown over it coming from the west to east .Nothing like good ole storm clouds ,On top of the puff ball of cotton .
