A trip to the zoo (flora, lillypads, and creatures)

My wife found this lovely little flower. It is so small, yet up close it looks to be a giant boquet.

Friends! If it wasnt for my wife I might have missed this one. I was off playing with the monkeys...

Thats the wierdest group of chickens I have ever seen.

Flamingos are absolutely GORGEOUS!

What a big softy! I got to pet this big guy right on the head as he moved towards us in curiosity. This was the best shot I could get with everything in the way!

My wife and I just thought this was cool.

These pads were so beautiful I couldnt resist getting a snap. Didnt come out too bad.

Looks like a frog paradise! Kermits version of Eden, perhaps?

2 and 4 are pretty awesome! The first needs to be a little sharper, but it is a very interesting flower.

core: Thanks very much! I agree with the flower needing to be a little sharper. I was shooting with an Argus P&S and the macro on that thing just sint that great. Tomorrow I get my new Fuji and then I will be getting some better details.
