Weather in England is still pretty miserable but managed to get out today with the kids for a stroll through the woods for a few hours. Come on the sunshine :D

I really enjoyed taking the last pic of my son and even managed to learn how the clone tool works which was really handy!!

Wow I like all of these!

The 3rd one is my least favorite as it's the only one without the human element in it. The 2nd one I really like as it displays the inquisitive nature of humans, especially younger kids. The 1st one has a really bleak feeling to it. Makes me think of the end of the world and the person is the last one on earth.

Nice set. I actually like the third one. Nice depth of field and focus, as well as great contrast and color. The others are great too. Nice work :)

I really like them all too... nice work!

I really like your leading lines in 1 and 3, especially in #1, and I love the texture of the wood in 4!

Thanks for you all your kind words. I really enjoyed taking them, even if the weather was a little grey and orrible ;) ....

I thought the same. The line in #1 is so strong that it took me really long to notice your son in there.

(Maybe crop out the first bottom step on #3.)

Proves a sunny day isn't required to produce nice work!

I would also like to add another comment on #1. I had to really study the photo and was also drawn to the lines. I sat trying to figure out if the edging was all trees...your son was actually an after thought. #1 is definitely my favorite.

Definitely some great photos here. Congrats on capturing them! The first photo is one of my favorites. I had to hunt for your son in that photo.

#3 is interesting - even without the human element in it.

#2 is great as well

#4 great portrait of your son!

Thanks again - there's plenty of woods near me and my son loves a ramble so it's great to get out with the dog as well, and grab a few pictures at the same time....Looking forward to getting some hopefully rewarding Summer shots as well.

The funny one about 1# was that i was about to ask him to jump out of the shot, but then realised he made it look all the better......
