This portrait, in my opinion, would have been stronger if you had captured him from his waist up. His shirt would add to the story. Perhaps his plough/bulls in the background would add more impact! These are merely pointers that I would consider while taking a portrait of a farmer. That is, if I have the luxury of time and convenience with the gentleman.
