Accidentally took 58MM 2.0X lens apart...now what?

How exactly does one take a lens apart "accidentally"?

I used to work in and ER as a Med Tech. I can tell you lots of "accidentally" stories. Most are N.S.F.W. an many involved a lubricated light bulb. Enough said. :lmao:

Yikes.. ok, well I'm thinking that definitely falls under my "Don't ask, Don't tell, for goodness sake Don't send video" policy.. lol

I didn't know photographers had such great senses of humor!! This is one that screws on to the end of an existing lens, so there were no actual screws involved...just twisted the wrong end! I think I have it put back together...thanks to all who gave such great advice, and to all of those that made me chuckle!

Thanks! I was looking for something that would have a diagram, but wasn't able to find it on my own.

Yes!! Exactly! I can't really see a difference between the two configurations through my camera.
