Adobe CC renewal question.

Im in Ireland so it seemed the obvious thing to do when purchasing a CC subscription/annual payment to say set my location to Ireland . So in Ireland a PS & LR CC plan is 12.49 euro per month or 149 euro for 12 months = roughly $15 dollars per month I'm guessing when converted directly.

My question: do I have to say my actual location or could I say Im in the US of example and get the one year annual payment, i.e, a once of payment saving money due to exchange rate.

Or have Adobe thought of that.

Apparently it has to do with a VAT or other tax on the software, and possibly a conversion fee???? As @KmH said your IP address will locate you, but now I'm curious. If a US based customer travels abroad for a long trip, does Adobe up your subscription from $9.99/mo for the Creative Cloud to the foreign countries rate????

Ok I got a refund from adobe a few years ago, it was a big debacle that ended with me getting a call from a high chair in CA. Anywho I got my subscription back but I still had use of the app for 18 months. Im going to cancel my current plan before it renews a a higher price plan. My question, will there be a period of use after I cancel or will it be like a captive bolt to the head.

I think they can also tell based on the credit card you use and what address is associated with the account.
