Hi all,

I have to take some photos tomorrow of some laboratory equipment/machinery which I have never done before. I've also seen some terrible photos of some of our other facilities so I was wondering if anyone has any tips?

There are a lot of metallic surfaces and glass and it is all under artificial lighting. There may also be people in the shots. Advice is greatly appreciated - even in terms of photoshopping it afterwards to make it look more impressive. That's really all that matters, that it looks impressive...

Thanks!

Tomorrow. Wow!

What kind of light? Flourescent? Incandescent? Mercury vapor?

A Circular Polarizing filter on the lens will help with some of the reflections in the glass.

Most shoots of that type require supplimental lighting and light modifiers. Being able to shoot, and light, from a high perspective, like from a scissor lift, is often desireable.
