IMG_0047_web.jpg

Cnc are welcome

wow, for a reverse macro shot that is amazing, (heck even for a full fledge macro lens it is amazing) very nice. how did you manage to keep it so still yet so low in the grass?

Wow a good pick. Great use of the reverse lens technique. Keep up the good work.

Wow! Great clarity and I love how it fades to black

Excellent! Very, very sharp. What is this reverse-lens technique you all speak of? I've heard of it, but I'm not really sure what it is.

Its a technique to get a macro shot without spending on macro lens. Just by reversing existing lens ( usually kit lens or prime lens ) and adjust everything manually ( including focusing, aperture ). required a lot of patients, practice and creativity. Best is to shoot in RAW format so it can be adjust easily.

Is that shallow of a DOF a side-effect of reversing a lens or was that by choice? Or maybe a bit of both?

Killer shot. The only nit, and it's really not all that important, is the edges of the photo. I think burning in a few areas might work.
But really, that's a very small thing. Otherwise I think it's an outstanding photograph.
Thanks for sharing.
