I really like this.

The idea is clear and the image itself is terrific but it would be of real interest to understand your PPing workflow.
I particularly like the choice to leave the eyes dark to give that anonymous lost look.

I would think that you must pay some particular attention to the tonality of the original image before converting, yes?

This is great. I'd be tempted to crop the top slat of the blinds to remove the light areas and put the face higher in the frame, but it's great either way.
