Air Force A-10 Air to Air

Here is a shot of a A-10 with the "Let's Roll" nose art. Taken from a
KC-135 just after air refueling. All 4 images are the same shot with 2 different crops and 2 different WB setting for each crop.

Would love to know what you think and where I can improve.

as for improving them, well you could always get me up there!! I don't think it would improve your shots but it would improve my website :lol:

Thanks for your comments. I would love to take more people up to see what I do. It would open up many doors that are currently shut that is for sure.

Maybe I will make it over to Mildenhall next. They are flying the great StratoTanker there.

Truly an awesome plane. I had the pleasure of shooting this plane while it was parked at an airshow. Very nice work here.

Yes she's a mean bird and I wouldn't want to be on the business end of that gun. It runs almost the entire length of the plane. This plane is so quiet that you won't even hear it coming until it's too late.

I have some more head on shot I will have to post. I also would hate being anywhere near the business end when the trigger is pulled.

At the airshow here, the ran the gun (obviously, not with live ammo) on an A-10. It sounded like the very fabric of the universe was being torn. I've always been a fan of planes that just get the job done. (B-17 is another favorite.) These are great shots.

Thanks for the comments. I wish I could take some photos of a live shoot with tracers. That would be an impressive experience. The pilots say the aircraft slows down when you shoot. Now that is power.
