Airglow????

Lots of strange pinks and greens in the sky that I didn’t see until I downloaded my Milky Way shots from Thursday night. Air glow? Not sure if it adds to the photo or makes it look like it’s noisy.

Could be. I was shooting the milky way in UT recently and the photographer in the next campsite asked me if I saw the air glow. I noticed some green in my shots. I still need to go back and PP them. If I like them I'll post them.

Nice shots. Ask the govt. They'll most likely tell you it's "swamp gas." At least it used to be their answer for every unidentified thing in the air. namely, UFO's.
