Akershus Fortress night&day

Finally some nice weather in Oslo this weekend. Akershus Fortress is the main landmark in Oslo. The two pictures were taken with 2 minutes separation. Unnecessary to say that the night-picture is slightly manipulated

Love the moon shot. Is there a person sitting inside that square-ish art thingy?

Like them both! Would have preferred if the tree wasn't in front of the moon, but its still a great shot.

Moon shot is cool. Is the moon real or did you increase its size or do some post to it?

Thanks for the feedback. Yes there is a man sitting on the bench inside the arc of the sculpture. The moon is stolen from another picture and placed over the sun located in the same place in the picrure.

You can tell by there still being subtle blues and yellows in the sky that it is just an underexposed shot in the day, though you did a pretty good job of disguising it.

And I really like your 2nd photo, but I feel like it would be even better in black and white.

I don't know what's the point image # 1...
The first image doesn't seem to be HDR at all, it's heavily photoshopped, and pretty flat. A common theme of both images was this person sitting on the structure, which is nice. But he seems to be a side note instead of the main focus of both images.
The second image is a bit soft where it is the most interesting, the person seated under the structure.
Hands down number #2 is nicer than # 1. Maybe go back to this area and get some shots a little closer?
