Alaskan critters

A few weeks ago my mother came to visit me in Alaska for the first time. She only had a few days, so we did some of the easy tourist stuff around Anchorage. During her trip, we took a tour boat out of Seward, visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and saw a couple bonus wild creatures along the way.

I had some technical difficulties including but not limited to new unfamiliar camera, rental adapted super zoom lens, moving boat, moving subjects, general wildlife amateur. Needless to say, I'm not presenting any of these based on their technical merit. It's just fun to see neat animals! Enjoy! (Photos tagged with "AWCC" are captive animals, everybody else is wild).
