Shot (Handheld) with Vivitar 400mm on Canon EF, ASA 800 through a dirty window

Considering that was shot through a window caked with nearly a decade of dirt and smokers soot at my grandmothers house, I have to say that came out better than I anticipated. Next time I go up there I am going to have to take a razor blade to the winow and get it cleaned thouroughly, because the flock of birds this dove hangs out with are skiddish as hell and I can't get close.

nope they stay put, this particular flock is huge, when they take off at the first sign of movment they shake grandmas place noticably.

I know what you mean. Some of my best shots were in a car in front of me.
