Alternative to Photoshop?

Post processing is my cup-of-tea, as the kids say, and I really can't describe in words how much I hate gimp. It's completely non-intuitive, the workflow design is terrible and makes no logical sense or flow, what takes me a couple clicks in PS is a laborious 4 or 5 step process in Gimp.

It's free for a reason.

As much as I love using aperture, there is an advantage by using Lightroom. If I ever had to switch platforms to a PC and I had to adjust photos in Lightroom, Im sure I could figure it out but Im more proficient in aperture. By using Lightroom, you do give your self more options.
