It looks a bit on the dark side and slightly tilted. Also possibly a portrait crop to isolate the 2 men and their subject would help.

Hey Gary, Just my opinion but the fresh looks a little flat and dark. Also the over exposed background isn't doing much for the photo.
I played around a little with the tones and brought in the crop a little. Like I said, just my take.

I messed with it in photoshop after scanning should have left it as it was

i disagree with the portrait crop. I think that big machine to the right is an important part of the picture. if anything, i would just crop off the kid on the left.

That's the end of a rail car (They never did figure out how to build them properly over there)
