American Horror Story: Freak Show (Possible spoilers)

I feel like the season premiere of AHS was kind of all over the place. I won't give specifics for those who haven't seen it, but it had an odd mix of camp (the bad kind due to shoddy effects and questionably lazy b-movie plot elements), seriousness and disjointed scenes that made it feel like it was trying too hard to be AHS instead of just being AHS.

Long story short, I was rather unimpressed with the premiere, which sucks because the main title sequence is the better than all previous seasons.

I think part of it just comes down to the theme. Hopefully throughout the season it will maintain the "What's next" outrageousness without sacrificing the viewer's suspension of disbelief.

I'm actually going to watch it again before next week.
They introduced a lot of characters in a short period of time. It's hard to believe that, that was a hour and a half long premiere! It went fast. It will take some time to get rolling. I did like what I saw so far though. THE CLOWN!!!!!

Btw, it was horror night for me last night. I went to see Annabelle! hehe

Annabelle was alright. I think since I saw The Conjuring and read the backstory of Annabelle, it didn't scare me as much as if I went in with no context.

However, that scene where she was in the basement of the apartment was hella creepy.
