The Grackles are the largest ones here and tend to chase away the smaller birds. The Blue jays also move off when they are here. The Mourning Doves like them because the Grackles scatter a lot of seed on the ground for the Doves to eat.

The Grackles always look angry with that bright yellow eye on the black background of feathers. This is from many years ago through my den window. The other bird is the Dusky Moorhen. Only one I have seen here.
