Not my best shoot tbh, which is a shame because it was the one I wanted to nail as there was a big band playing.

since I took this photo, with a slower shutter, i've been trying to recreate the effect at this show. Overboard? Or a nice touch, you decide

Thanks, yeah that is the one i was talking about. Its my favourite aswell. Erm well they're about both, because the crowd is a big part of the scene (everyone going mad in the pits) just documenting a fun night

#2 looks like an underexposure that was just lifted up. Push some contrast back in there and I think you might have something, the poses are good.

#1 is awesome. well done.

@Amolitor I can see why you'd think that, but I actually just added a paint layer of white and turned opacity down... that could be considered sort of the same thing as lifting it up i supppooose. But I just like the effect it gives

Yep, that's pretty much exactly the same thing as pushing the "exposure" up
