Where did you get that bamboo floor?

Where did you get that bamboo floor?

I think World market, it is a bamboo rug. They have a small one and this larger one, but usually it is not on display you have to find where they have the rugs stored behind the hanging ones it is up in the back.... 99 bux.

Thanks! It looks huge!
Anyways do you use 1 light or two with your newborns? I don't like the processing of #7 and the reflection in the background is distracting. The angle you shot at in #8 would have probably been better if you got a lot lower. #'s 3,4,5 are my fav. The lighting is beautiful in #4

Actually... i covered the reflection in the background in #7 with my hand and I think it looks a lot better.. even with the processing. I would just enhance the blacks a little.

Heres an example. They look really close to it too which is why the light was blown right on it. Id probably blurr it out too because its still a little distracting.

You have some super cute stuff here. Great job! I'm totally in love witht the third one. It's gorgeous.

I use one light, it is all I have right now.
that one with mom was a real quick snap, baby was waking up and over it... lol I try to keep mom away as much as I can and this time I had an assistant and so when I would change sets I would have my assistant hold the baby, whenever mom hold the baby they wake up and want to eat....

I have lower angles of the bed. That was her request, she wanted princess and the pea feel...

But her little face is covered by the blanket :(

I need a newborn nest but I can't buy anything new until I pay off my new lens! lol

Ugh... I don't know if you feel the same.. but I have a love/hate relationship with newborn sessions. Of course I love babies but newborn sessions are exhausting! Between the feeding, crying, waking up, crying again, peeing on the blanket, rocking the baby to sleep, changing scenes etc.. lol. I wind up pouring sweat at the end...lol. I should really get an assistant too.

What do you use in replacement of a newborn nest? Do you sew? I might have something you'll be interested in... :)

I don't sew but I've been lusting over a newborn nest for months.... I just use a bean bag, tied with a clip and then I either use a boppy or towels under, but I hate it I need something more firm. I had asked you if you would sew me one of yours how much would it cost! lol

really, really nice!
I wish I could do that!

and yes at the end I am dripping in sweat, I have to shower after my newborn sessions.... I crank my heat up, space heater.... having an assistant really helped, this baby was 19 days old, I like them under 10 days but oh well.

I am going to try to have an assistant for every newborn session from now on.
